Is postage included in the price?

No, postage is charged on top of the cost of your items. The amount charged depends on the weight, and delivery method.
Due to the way the website works we are not able to display the shipping costs until the checkout, after you have selected the delivery method.

How is postage calculated?

Postage and packing charges are based on the weight and dispatch method.
You will be prompted to choose your dispatch method, and the appropriate charges will be calculated before your order is completed.
You will always have the option to change the dispatch method if you want to.

Upgraded deliveries.
Some items maybe sent out using a better service than you have paid for. these orders have been upgraded free of charge by us to give the best value, or the fastest delivery times.

What sort of delivery charge can I expect?

Small orders:
Small orders sent by 2nd class post such as lamps and waveguide covers generally cost about £1.99 for 2nd class or £2.29 for 1st class
if the total order weight is less than 0.5 kg.
Larger orders:
Large orders, or orders for more than one item weighing up to 1kg cost approximately £4.99 for 2nd class, or £5.99 for 1st class.

Courier delivery
Courier delivery charges for mainland UK, Wales and Scotland are £6.50 + VAT
Courier delivery charges for Scottish highlands and Islands are £12.50 + VAT

VAT
All delivery charges are subject to VAT at the current rate

Non UK orders.

Airmail.
All orders from outside the UK are sent by airmail as in our experience surface mail takes too long and the cost of airmail is not significantly greater.

Delivery by courier.

Orders weighing over 2KG.
Orders with a weight of more than 2kg will always be sent by courier,
which costs £6.50.
Courier delivery for Wales and Scotland mainland costs £12.50 + VAT.

Courier delivery times.
Delivery is guaranteed within 48 hours,
however 99% of orders will arrive the next working day.

Expensive items.

Expensive items such as magnetrons, and some breadmaker spares such as breadpans are sent as Royal Mail "signed for" post.
Generally if your order is worth more than £20 it will be dispatched as a
"signed for" package.This applies to both UK, and overseas orders.

Low power microwave ovens.

The delivery cost for our low power microwave ovens, and camping packs is included in the price displayed.
No extra delivery charges will be added at the checkout.
