Queries about ordering spares, and using the website

Do you keep all the items on the site in stock?

We try to, but we do unfortunately run out from time to time. The fact that you can place an order for an item does not indicate that it is in stock. If you have an urgent requirement, or wish to place a very large order you may wish to call to check stock levels before ordering.

How do I tell which type of lamp I need for my microwave?

If you remove the lamp from your microwave, you can then match it up with those listed on our site. Our pictures are good quality so you should be able to match the specifications of your lamp easily.
Although we try to list the relevant type of lamp under our make and model listings, we have found that the manufacturers ma change the type of bulb fitted depending on availability.
For this reason it's always better to remove the lamp first, and match it against those shown in the lamps section of our website.

Why are some othe model numbers listed different to my model?

The numbers within the model designation are important. The Suffix letters generally just indicate a colour variant of a base model. The parts we have listed are common to all colour variants so it shouldn't matter. If in doubt please don't hesitate to contact us.

What are the delivery options?

As you follow through the order process you can choose the method you prefer and will be given the price for each. Orders need to be received by 09:30 to guarantee being processed and despatched.
We do not process orders on a Saturday afternoon, Sunday or UK Bank Holidays.
We cannot arrange for Saturday or Sunday deliveries, but deliveries to an alternative address are not a problem for us.

Why can't I see the secure padlock on your site?

Our website does not need to be secure as it does not handle your credit card details. When you are ready to pay you will be transferred to Sage Pay who will process your payment on our behalf.
Their payments web site is fully secure and meets all the Government security requirements, so you can be sure they will take all necessary precautions with your personal and credit card data.

Will my payment be taken at the time of ordering?

Yes, in order to process a secure transaction your payment will be taken during the order process, even if the parts you have ordered are out of stock.
If you change your mind or wish to cancel your order we can carry out a refund.

Can I pay using Paypal?

Please note although we take payment by Paypal, Sage Pay and Paypal are part of the same group of businesses so your transaction will probably appear on your receipt and invoice as being paid via Sage Pay, rest assured you will not have been charged twice for your order.

Do you use Pattern Parts?

Yes, pattern parts are made by a third party but to the same specification as the original, and are often better. In our experience they are nearly always cheaper than the originals. Where we use pattern parts we have thoroughly tested them before adding them to our listings.

Can we collect our order from you?

Of course you can. We have a shop in Sellindge, located in the county of Kent.

Can we return unwanted parts to you?

Under the distance selling regulations: yes, you can.
However, they must to be unused, unfitted and in a re sellable condition.
We may exercise our right not to refund the postage you paid.
You must contact us within 7 Days of the receiving the order.
You may wish to send the order back using registered post to guarantee delivery.
