These halogen lamps lamps just push fit into the holder.
Please be careful when fitting halogen lamps, do not handle the glass "bulb" with bare fingers, the oils from your skin will drastically shorten the life of the lamp.
If you do touch the glass it will need cleaning with meths or some similar cleaning agent.
