Unfortunately this is a different shape than the existing one and it doesn’t work. The door does not shut.

Despite being the same brand - Sharp, the latches differ from model to model. Your model isn't listed in our description of that part. You have kindly let us know your model number so if you can return that latch we can send the correct latch for your specific model.
