Does the job although sadly I can see the plastic latch failing in a few years time again whereas a more robust material would seem more suitable and durable. This though is a manufactures issue and not Kitchenwareonline's as they can only sell what the manufacture provides!

It was cheaper then somewhere else, it arrived fast and it fits exactly in the place of the broken one. I would definitely buy again!

It is as it says on the can, a Panasonic bread maker spare part. Seems to be the genuine part, still the silly plastic activator though, so will probably need replacing in another 6 years (I can live with that though).

Was disappointed when my second nut and raisin dispenser died on me but kitchenware came to the rescue speedily so I’m very happy.

If you read the reviews everybody who replaces this item is because the plastic rocker which operates the trap door breaks, This is a Panasonic design fault the trouble is you have to replace the whole unit there's a company in the US which makes the rocker in metal for about the same price with postage.

This original part has a slight design defect in that a small plastic clip breaks off after a few years' (three, in the case of our's) use. However, being able to purchase this replacement part enables us to continue using our otherwise excellent Panasonic bread maker (SD-2511).

This dispenser tends to break after a few months, even if not used. This is the fault of Panasonic and not Kitchenwareonline. It's a pity because the bread maker is otherwise excellent.

Much cheaper than buying a new breadmaker. shame that the plastic drop switch mechanism is not a little more robust.

This does what it is supposed to. It has a design weakness in that the plastic latch that secures the flap snaps in half after a couple of hundred uses. The piece that snaps off ends up in the loaf. According to web forums I am not the only user to have experienced this. I expect to replace this part regularly unless Panasonic start making the latch of a more suitable material.

It is what it is, it does what it is supposed to. 5 stars for that!

This spare was exactly what I needed to repair my bread maker. It was an official spare, however slightly annoying that Panasonic do not replace the small broken plastic lever on the release mechanism with something more durable.
