Old pan and paddle had got very scratched and removing loaf from pan was near impossible. With this new pan loaf slips out easily. Pan weighs less than original but that hasnít proved yet to be a problem. Only issue with this kit is the price - way over-priced even if kichenware online seemed cheapest.

Good item, good price, good delivery. Blade was a loose fit on the shaft, but I spoke to kitchenwareonline and was assured this would be ok, and it is, machine is now working very well. Bread drops out of the pan easily as soon as the bake is complete, leaving only a thin slit where the blade was, unlike the previous ten year old pan which involved strenuous effort to remove the bread and always left a chunk around the paddle. Once again we are getting excellent bread!
