SD-ZB2512

Please note. Sometimes customers report back that the new mounting shaft or kneading blade are a loose fit once assembled. We have approached Panasonic about this and have been informed that for 2 reasons the kneading blade may be a loose fit on the mounting shaft: Firstly, that the blade is manufactured to allow for the sometimes uneven non stick coating to be applied and secondly, that the blade always rotates in one direction only so despite being loose will not wear excessively as the drive is in the same direction always. We recommend therefore that the blade or mounting shaft not be replaced simply because they seem to be a loose fit.

Panasonic SD-ZB2512 Kneading mounting shaft - ADA29E165

Unfortunately these days manufacturers make it so difficult to take anything apart to replace the actual component that needs doing. In this respect we just needed to grease the shaft to free it up, but despite attempts we were unable to gain access, and we are pretty hard-core DIY fixers.
So - it was great to be able to get a replacement part to fix the breadmaker rather than have to junk the whole machine, but not the plan. This company at least had a part, although not cheap, and we would definitely use again for other items if required.

Didn't fit.

It looks like a genuine item and is well made. I checked before buying that my model was listed but, unfortunately, the part supplied had a single little metallic protusion on the mating face (obviously by design), that my original one didn't, so it wouldn't fit. I was able to machine it off using a Dremel, so I didn't have to return it. The can also has a heat-resistant o-ring, which, as with most seals, should be renewed. However, this wasn't supplied as part of the "kit". (It's fitted now so I can't supply a picture.)

I used this kneading shaft to fix my Panasonic bread maker bucket that had started leaking.

Worked perfectly. Much better than buying a new bin. Thank you.
